What is MindFEST

MindFEST is a free community event dedicated to strengthening minds through music, food, entertainment, art, yoga, vendors, panel discussions, and more.

Founded in 2021, MindFEST Louisville is led by a team of passionate mental health advocates who are committed to fostering awareness, healing, and empowerment. Our founders include FAIF of FAIF Music Ent., Lauren Muir and Renesha Martin of Martin and Muir, and Jasmine Presley of The Presley Post.

Together, we advocate for mental health through music, podcasting, professional services, blogging, and community outreach—creating an inclusive space where mental well-being is prioritized and celebrated.

Jasmine is a multi-passionate entrepreneur, community advocate, and the Founder/CEO of The Presley Post. As a born and raised Louisvillian, she graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. She continued to self learn after college with a special interest in finances, wealth building, and mindset.

The more she applied the knowledge she was gaining, the more excited she became to share it with others.  Rediscovering her gift as a writer, blogging became her creative outlet.

Although she experienced isolation at home during the creative process, she quickly captivated an online community when she launched The Presley Post blog in 2019.  Her vision for The Post has always been to share physical space and connect creators while making a positive impact in the community. After exploring the creative scene in bigger cities, Jasmine was inspired to take a leap and open her first brick and mortar location in the fall of 2021.

The Presley Post has an artsy vibe featuring local artworks, which makes it a unique coworking space.  Jasmine hand picked every element of decor, dedicating meticulous attention to designing a welcoming space that radiates warmth, love, and inclusivity.

Renesha is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with wide-ranging experience treating children, adolescents and adults with complex social and behavioral health needs including those struggling with co-morbid medical and mental health difficulties.

Her work experience includes treatment of children, youth and families receiving services through in-home, professional office setting, group homes, drug and rehab facilities, and school-based services. Her goal is to meet client’s needs by providing research-based treatment from an affirming and developmentally conscious perspective. She received her Bachelor’s degree at Northern Kentucky University and a Master’s degree at Webster University.

Renesha has developed skills in modalities such as Cognitive-Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, 7 Challenges, and other methods to help clients manage their anxiety, depression, substance use, and overcoming the lasting effects of childhood trauma. As a counselor, she helps clients realize that past negative experiences do not determine future success. She has worked with clients of all ages seeking to move past the rut that has been affecting their lives.

She also helps to provide clients with tools needed to improve self-sabotage and to see the seemingly hidden positivity in their lives. Renesha holds firmly that we make sense of the world through the lens of our own unique experiences and within the context from which we have come. By examining the ways the larger culture has impacted how we view ourselves, we can then ask how this might get in the way of our most important relationships and connections. From this place we can begin to heal.
